Meet David Patalsky, CPA
David is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Arizona with nearly 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. He holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Arizona. He began his career at national CPA firms, serving middle-market clients in healthcare, manufacturing, and non-profits as a financial statement auditor. His expertise extends to 401(k) compliance, HUD lender audits, and grant recipient financial reviews.
For the past 11 years, David has worked as a senior financial leader for mid-sized companies with annual revenues ranging from $10M to $1.5B. His experience spans healthcare, food manufacturing and wholesale, brokerage services, marketing, and SaaS/eCommerce, equipping him with practical financial insights that help businesses thrive.
In addition to leading Fidelitas-CPA, David is a franchise partner with Nautical Bowls, a fast-growing healthy food restaurant brand. His hands-on entrepreneurial experience gives him a deep understanding of the challenges business owners face, allowing him to offer precise and foresightful real-world financial solutions.
Faith, Service, & Family
The name Fidelitas is Latin for "faithfulness" or "integrity," a principle central to the accounting profession and to David’s personal philosophy.
David served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years, embodying Semper Fidelis's motto ("Always Faithful"). His dedication to integrity and service extends to every aspect of his work. David's degree in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College further shaped his values, grounding him in Christian principles that influence his work ethic, decision-making, and client relationships.
David's passions include family, community service, and Arizona sports. He has been married for 23 years and is the father of seven, three of whom work at the firm (with more in the pipeline!). His oldest son is currently serving as a U.S. Marine, continuing the family's legacy of dedication and service.
Outside of work, David actively serves alongside Streams Church, where he leads, hosts, and sponsors various community activities, including men's and couples' home fellowships.
As an avid sports fan, David holds season tickets to the Arizona Cardinals, Suns, and Diamondbacks and passionately follows the University of Arizona Wildcats' basketball and football programs.
